Kasaan Trinkets

Indigenous-Owned • Alaska-Made • Culture-Rooted

Welcome to Kasaan Trinkets — a Haida woman-owned microbusiness based in the ancestral village of Gasa’áan (Kasaan), Alaska—one of the last traditional Haida communities in the United States.

We offer meaningful, handmade goods that reflect the spirit of this land and its people—from wire-wrapped crystals and Devil’s Club salves to regalia supplies, apparel, and souvenirs you’ll want to keep forever.

Founded by Randi Braz—Sgaan Jaat (Killerwhale Woman), of the Skaawahladas Raven Thunderbird clan—Kasaan Trinkets grew out of loss and love. After losing her generational home to fire in 2023, Randi began rebuilding through art, advocacy, and community care. This business is more than a way to survive—it’s a space to reclaim visibility, reconnect with tradition, and uplift others.

Here, we do things differently. Kasaan Trinkets is built on values of transparency, collaboration, equity, and cultural continuity. We offer:

Community-first pricing: We tell you exactly what it costs us to make each item and invite you to pay what you can. Some give more so others can pay less.

Membership options: Join Auntie’s Circle, Matriarch Tier, or Deadliest Supporter to receive quarterly bundles, early access to drops, exclusive perks, and the chance to support Indigenous artists.

Sponsorship programs: Contribute to our Artist Support Fund or sponsor a specific creator. Your donation helps fund their membership, materials, and emergency assistance.

Indigenous artist partnerships: We showcase the work of Native artists through both consignment and artist membership models. Artists can choose the option that works best for them.

Eco-conscious goods: Custom reusable gear and eco-friendly packaging help us protect the land we depend on.
